Why SasuNaru was added:
For two major reasons:

1) Depending on how the series ends, the pairing could eventually be interpreted as canon despite the series being in a shounen magazine. For example, this could be seen to occur with Zabuza and Haku, whereby the relationship was never confirmed but is largely considered canon. So, should no other pairing be seen as legitimate or established by series end but the bond between the two further emphasized in a suspect manner, a romantic interpretation could be justified. In other words, there is a basis for it being debated.

2) Almost, if not every time a debate is begun concerning the Big Three in the main area of the HoU, SasuNaru is immediately added into the discussion. The reason the debate thread was created in the first place was to minimize the problems of large-scale pairing debates in this forum. As SasuNaru shows the same problems that the other pairings have shown and could be considered debatable in a manner of speaking, it was added.

From this point on, any debates or complaints about whether or not the pairing should be included will be deleted as spam. Please debate the validity of the pairing (including arguments that it could never be considered anything other than platonic) rather than its place in this thread, as that will not be changing at this time. Further complaints may be submitted through PM. But, be warned that I just got off holiday a short time ago to drama in other sections along with the huge backlog of requests that implies. So, it may take time before you receive a reply.

This thread is supposed to be based on the manga canon. Still be aware of rule #5 regarding latest chapters spoilers.

1. This thread is for debating about SasuNaru, NaruHina, NaruSaku, and SasuSaku only.

Do not bring up other pairings in here.
Do not bring up fanfiction in here.
Do not bring up fanart in here (this includes altered manga panels).
Do not bring up fillers in here.
Do not bring up theories in here.
Do not use this thread as your own soapbox.
Do not use databook, interviews, and such.
Do not double post or triple post unless your argument doesn't fit in one post.
Do not target a fandom, just the pairings. (example - this is what _____ fans/fandom think about this or you're just a _____ fanboy)
The canon evidence is the only thing that matters so stick to that when debating. The Naruto manga is canon evidence. Nothing else.

2. Spamming is not tolerated

This includes responses like the following:

"*insert spam here*"
"On-topic: Sakura "
"I think it will be Tonton. "
"This will be interesting..."
"Thank you."
"You said what I wanted to say."

Also mentions of orgies derail the thread, so we can't allow that If we see any of this your posts will be deleted and if we notice a habit we will slash your post count.

Do not link to essays or any other NF thread links in your reply to posts, if you have something to say in response to another post, please post your thoughts, but just no one-liners. Put some depth into your posts. Make sure of the quote feature when responding to someone. Quoting a post without a response or with very little response will likely be removed.

3. No flaming

This is really a no brainer. Attack the argument, not the person. If we see this you will be banned. If you continue to repeat the actions you will probably just be section banned from the HoU for a long time.

This also includes attacking an entire fandom for their preference. The same goes for anyone who is trolling.

4. Any and all threads made on this subject from here on out will be merged with this one, locked, recycled and/or trashed depending on the situation.

This means do not create another thread on the matter. This will make for very annoyed mods. Some may be nice and others may be ruthless depending on who sees the other thread.

5. Any spoilers from Telegrams that are posted in here before the Monday after chapter release is automatic 1 day ban. This includes hinting!

This is the first warning for everyone. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in unfavorable punishments.

This thread and each incarnation shall be archived after every 100 pages. Things always seem to degrade more frequently after a certain point. It also helps for other things that I won't mention. If this thread gets spammed again, it might be trashed again before it reaches 100 pages.

Also, since the people can't seem to play nicely you will just be outright banned if we see your nonsense. Each ban will be longer than the last until people get the point.
